Job description

- You will play a key role in supporting the pharmacy's logistical operations. Duties include(but not limited to) delivering medicines to patients, collecting prescriptions from surgery, dropping parcels off to the post office.

Job Details:

Status: Self-Employed

​

Number of Positions: 1

​​

Total Hours: Upwards of 8-10 hours weekly

​​

Schedule:  1-2 hour shifts over 4-5 days between Monday-Friday. 

 

S​​​​hifts timings:

​

Mon   4:00am – 6:00pm

Wed   4:00am – 6:00pm

Thurs 4:00am – 6:00pm

Fri       4:00am – 6:00pm

(8 hours weekly)

Probation: 6 months

​​​

Pay and Remuneration:

Hourly: £12/hr, Mileage/Fuel: 35p/mile​​

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A clearance on the enhanced DBS check.

• Prior experience with deliveries or/and a good knowlegde of the area local to the pharmacy (Bodmin/Cornwall).

• A willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards work in a professional healthcare setting is essential.

• You will need to have exceptional communication skills and a passion for helping patients.

• You can demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.

• You will need the ability to work well in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments.
